The sky during this whole fire sequence got recolored. I actually like the theatrical version better, though I can see why the animators may have thought a grey sky would have made the scene look less busy.

I would also like to point out that getting frame perfect shots of these fire scenes was extroadinarily time consuming due to the number of moving elements in each shot.
