The
story takes place when Balza and Mary, the two who are with Hoopa, were
still little. The three of them lived peacefully with the
villagers in the Arche Valley, a place far away from where they would
eventually meet Satoshi and his friends in Dessert City. Everyone
loves the Rings that Hoopa can use to make anything appear~! One
day, the three of them help an old woman make something called donuts
and Hoopa's eyes
light up at the sight of these round treats. However, hijinks
ensue when Hoopa decides to use its
Rings to help create more donuts...!?

From Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at 10:01am to Friday, July 17th, 2015 at 10:00am customers could reserve a special pre-order ticket set for Pokémon the movie XY "The Archdjinn of the Rings, Hoopa" and "Pikachu and the Pokemon Band" for 3,180 yen. The special package contains two pre-order movie tickets - one adult and one child's ticket - with the serial codes for both Arceus and the legendary pokemon, a pamphlet explaining how to redeem said serial codes, and the DVD containing the short Appear, the Small Djinn Hoopa. This special set is exclusive to Seven-Eleven stores in Japan. The special set could be picked up starting Friday, June 19th at 7:00am. Those who reserve the set from June 16th onwards will be able to pick the set up four days later. You will not be able to obtain the pre-order bonus Arceus for your Generation VI Pocket Monsters games until this date since you won't be given the movie ticket with the serial code on it until then. You pay for the ticket set the day you pick it up. More information can be found on Seven-Eleven's website.
The DVD includes all six of the Hoopa's Great "Appear~!" Operation!! shorts that aired on Oha Suta! in April and May 2015. It also includes the latest trailer for the movie and the preview video for the XY series that's up on TV-Tokyo's official site as of this writing. The dubbed version of this special should be interesting since this special contains a number of visual puns that will have to be completely rewritten to work in English. There's also a very high chance that this shot will be removed completely.
At the moment, this short is being
released on a DVD exclusive to Seven-Eleven stores in
Japan.
More details will be added later.
The soundtrack for this special consists
of stock music cues from previous movies, from Arceus - To the Conquering of Time and
Space all the way up to The
Cocoon of Destruction, Diancie.
