Every now and then, special episodes will air that aren't a part of the TV series. These episodes often vary in length, feature aspects of the franchise not covered by the regular TV series, and may or may not be a part of the regular TV series' main canon. Some have never been dubbed, while others have premiered in the U.S. before debuting in Japan. When it comes to the TV specials, there don't seem to be any rules.
