Pocket Monsters The Movie "Koko" ~ One More Beginning ~ (劇場版ポケットモンスター ココ ～もうひとつのはじまり～) is a prequel manga that takes place three years before the events depicted in Pocket Monsters The Movie "Koko."
The manga's existence was first teased in a series of interviews conducted by CoroCoro Online with two of the film's special guest stars Mr. Kankuro Nakamura and Ms. Moka Kamishiraishi on July 31st, 2020. The interviews allude to the fact that the manga will be in "the issue of CoroCoro Comics that's coming out soon."
The first chapter of the manga was eventually released in the December 2020 issue of CoroCoro Comics. A second chapter will be released in the January 2021 issue. A graphic novel release came out December 25th, 2020.
Viz Media will release the English language release on February 8th, 2022 under the title Pokémon The Movie: Secrets of the Jungle -- Another Beginning
