The Pocket
Monsters The
Movie "Koko" ~ One More Beginning ~ manga is being written and
drawn by Teruaki Mizuno (水野輝明). It is his first Pocket Monsters-related manga.
Mr. Mizuno arrived on the manga scene in 2001 by receiving an honorable mention at the semi-annual Tezuka Awards. Later that year saw the release of his debut work, DINOSOUL. He continued to draw series for various Jump Comics over the years such as Metallica Metalucas (which, despite its name, has no relation to the heavy metal band), the manga adaptation of Chousoku Henkei Gyrozetter, and a tie-in manga for the Marvel Future Avengers animated series. Mr. Mizuno has worked under the tutelage of Mr. Shouhei Ishioka (石岡ショウエイ).
