Pokémon Frienda Oshiete! Friender-Man (ポケモンフレンダおしえて！フレンダーマン), or "Pokémon Frienda: Teach Me, Friender-Man!," is a comic series based on the Japan-only arcade game Pokémon Frienda.
In Pokémon Frienda, players collect thin plastic rectangles called picks that feature Pokémon on them. Each pick has a QR code on it, and players scan these QR codes into Pokémon Frienda arcade cabinets to battle against a CPU in three-on-three battles. In the Pokémon Frienda Oshiete! Friender-Man comic, a young elementary school student named Renda learns how to play the Pokémon Frienda arcade game with the help of a goofy superhero named Friender-Man.
The manga is written and drawn by Kemon Kawamoto (河本けもん). This is Mr. Kawamoto's fifth Pocket Monsters related manga, after having done Pokémon The Movie XY&Z "Volcanion and the Tricky Magearna", Pocket Monsters The Movie "I Choose You!" Remix, Pocket Monsters The Movie "Everyone's Story" Side Story: Episode Zeraora, and Pokémon Mezastar Mezase! Tag Master!!
