Arceus (アルセウス) / Arceus

Japanese VA:  Miwa Akihiro

Arceus is the pokemon who is said to have created the universe.

Thousands of years ago, Arceus protected the planet from a meteorite but, in the process, became injured.  A man named Damos helped save its life, so in return, it lent him an item known as "The Jewel of Life" (命の宝玉).  The jewel, which is made up from five of its plates, was meant to be used to turn the land of Michiina into an abundant paradise and then returned.  However, Damos double-crossed Arceus and kept the jewel anyway, incurring Arceus' wrath.  The pokemon eventually went into a deep sleep, issuing forth a warning as it did so:  "The next time I awake, you humans shall have my judgment cast down upon you." (次に目覚めたときには人間に裁きを下す).

Arceus' Pokemon Zukan entry:
Diamond:  "It is described in mythology as the Pokémon that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms."
Pearl:  "It is told in mythology that this Pokémon was born before the universe even existed."
Platinum:  "It appeared from within an egg floating through the void and created the world as we know it."

Many fans in the West assume that Arceus is meant to be the pokemon world's version of the Christian God, but nothing in the Japanese version even implies this.

Dialga, Palkia, & Giratina (ディ アルガとパ ルキアとギラティナ) / Dialga, Palkia, & Giratina

Japanese VAs:  Unknown

Dialga and Palkia, who were fighting each other in 2007's Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Darkrai and Giratina, who fought to protect the Reverse World in 2008's Giratina and the Sky Bouquet, Shami, continue their ongoing struggle in 2009's Arceus- To the Conquering of Spacetime.  Will their battle finally come to an end?

Notch-Eared Pichu (ギザみみピチュー) / Spiky-Eared Pichu

Japanese VA:  Nakagawa Shouko

The Notch-Eared Pichu is a Pichu with a uniquely shaped left ear who lives in Damos' and Gishin's era.  The mouse pokemon, with the help of Pikachu and Potchama, are able to find the key that unlocks Damos' jail cell.

It is a female who is said to like Grepa Berries (ウブのみ), though neither one of these facts are brought up in the movie itself.

Headran, Chicorita, Hinoarashi, and Waninoko (ヒードランとチコリータとヒノアラシとワニノコ) / Heatran, Chikorita, Cyndaquil, and Totodile

Japanese VAs:  Miyake Kenta (Headran)

Headran is a salamander pokemon who belongs to Gishin.  The powerful fire-type pokemon is being controlled by Gishin's mind controlling armor until Pikachu breaks it free with an Iron Tail attack.  It is seen walking on the walls of Gishin's dining room and, later, on the ceiling of the temple.

Chicorita and Hinoarashi are two pokemon who are forced to work in the kitchen inside Michiina's temple.  Like Headran, they are being held prisoner by a special armor until Pikachu and the Notch-Eared Pichu free them with their Iron Tail attacks.  Later in the film, Chicorita tries, unsuccessfully, to catch the "Jewel of Life" after it had been knocked out of Gishin's hands.

Waninoko is a pokemon who uses its Water Gun attack to help Pikachu and the others get the key to Damos' jail cell.  Unlike the others, Waninoko does not have any armor on.

All Pokemon Zukan entries were retrieved from Bulbapedia.
