Human Characters | Pokemon Characters Jirachi (ジラーチ) / Jirachi Japanese VA: Suzuki Tomiko, American VA: Kerry Williams Hours later, the pokemon hatches from its cacoon and introduces itself to the group. Jirachi is described in the Pokemon Zukan as being a wish-granting pokemon. It uses the Shinjitsu no Me ("The Eye of Truth"), a special technique that grants it the power of instantaneous movement. Jirachi can also use telepathy and can speak human language. After the seven days are up, Jirachi has to return to its cacoon where it will sleep for another thousand years. Absol (アブソル) / Absol
Absol, one of the
first pokemon
featured in a movie that isn't super-rare or difficult to catch, is the
self-appointed protector of Jirachi. When it sees Masato playing
with Jirachi, it mistakes the young boy for an enemy and attacks
him.
It is later subdued by Butler and determines that the magician is
Jirachi's
real threat, so it joins Satoshi-tachi in their struggle against
Butler. Absol's primary method of attack is to use the horn on its head to shoot scythe-like beams at its enemies. Meta-Groudon (メタ・グラードン) / ???
Meta-Groudon
is the Groudon that Butler manages to resurrect in the movie.
Not
a real Groudon (much like the Entei in the third
movie wasn't the real Entei), the Meta-Groudon is able to protrude
tentacles from its body which it uses to absorb the surrounding
pokemon.
The Meta-Groudon also causes plants to die wherever it steps. Human
