This page is dedicated to those female background characters who keep appearing over and over and over again.  This list only begins to scratch the surface...if you have any more examples, then by all means, e-mail me.  I'll want all the screencaps in this section to be from my DVD's since I don't want to deal with grainy .avi files, so if I don't have the DVD with the episode on it, I'll have to wait until I do before adding them to this list.

Girl with brown pigtails and pink overalls




Here's a crudely-drawn version of her celebrating the defeat of Team Rocket in "Battle Aboard the St. Anne." Here she is in "All Fired Up," waiting for the Kanto League to start.

She's one of the kids who watches Team Rocket's show in "The Dunsparce Deception."
Here she is as part of the crowd in "Will the Real Oak Please Stand Up?"
And here she is (right in front of Wobbuffet) in "Pros and Con Artists." Here she is in "Berry, Berry Interesting."

She tells Dawn about Paris in "Arriving In Style!"


"Hypno's Naptime" Pigtails Girl




She first appeared as one of the missing children in "Hypno's Naptime." Here she is in "Hokey Pokéballs" being conned by Team Rocket.

Her Chansey gets defeated by the Red Lightning in "Curbing The Crimson Tide!"


She also appears in "Glory Blaze!"


"Hypno's Naptime" Handkerchief Girl




The girl first shows up in "Hypno's Naptime," thinking she's a Gloom.
She appears in the Johto episode "Doin' What Comes Natu-rally" to get her fortune read by the episode's titular pokemon.
Later, she's with Gardenia's fans in "Once There Were Greenfields!"


Reporter




She first shows up in the Orange Island episode "Shell Shock," reporting on the Kabuto.
Later, she shows up as the receptionist in "All Things Bright and Beautifly."


Before Ash's battle with Tucker, he gets interviewed by her in "Tactics Theatrics!"
Jessie imagines being interviewed by the reporter in the episode "Three Jynx and a Baby."


Overweight woman with a flower in her hair




Here she is with a little boy in "Stage Fight." This time, she's got on a pink dress in this shot from "The Joy of Pokémon."

And here she is during a crowd scene from the second movie.

She catches Team Rocket shoplifting in "A Goldenrod Opportunity."
Later, she's one of the townspeople who's fed up with the Smeargle's shenanigans in "The Art of Pokémon."

She also appears in "Pokéblock, Stock, and Berry."

Annie / Stephanie




In "Wobba-palooza," she's a little girl named Annie whose Wobbuffet was beaten up by a trio of punks.
In the Pokémon Advanced episode "Having a Wailord of a Time," she's a beginning trainer named Stephanie who's trying to choose her starter pokemon.


Ponytail Girl




She's one of the girls with a Dunsparce in "The Dunsparce Deception."
Later, she's in the crowd watching Delaney's Poliwrath in "Outrageous Fortunes."


Girl with pigtails and yellow hair scrunchies




This girl has appeared a number of times...here she is behind Max in "All Things Bright and Beautifly." Later, you can see her behind Ponyta in "Win, Lose or Drew."


"The Mother of Rohta"



"The Mother of Rohta" (as she's called in the credits to the Japanese version of the movie) is seen at the beginning of "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew."  Here, she tells her daughter about the legend of Lucario and Aaron.

We see her again in "The Rise of Darkrai" during the opening theme.  We also see her when the city is being attacked by Darkrai.

She appears again during the ending credits of "Arceus and the Jewel of Life."
Zoroark - Master of Illusions
They can be seen walking in Crown City during "Zoroark - Master of Illusions."
Victini and the Black / White Hero, Zekrom / Reshiram
Now they're in Aint Oak during "Victini and the Black / White Hero, Zekrom / Reshiram."
