Satoshi, the main character of our story who's continuing
his journey to become a Pokémon Master, has come to the Shin'ou
Region together with his Pikachu. There they meet Hikari, the heroine
of our story who's aiming to become a Top Coordinator, and her partner
Pochama. Together they all set off on a journey together. Through the
various encounters they have along the way they get to know the
importance of treasuring your friends, overcome red-hot rivalries
through the power of friendship, and grow as they move forward... On
top of that, Hikari aims to go on stage at the Pokémon Contests.
Their journey's not over yet...

1"Those Wonderful Fashion Guys" (Suteki na Fashon) was the name the Rocket-Dan gave the Ginga-Dan since they didn't know the organization's name at the time. There is no dub equivalent.
2The Japanese title is a bit of a play on words that's difficult to translate into English. In Japanese, the phrase that I've translated as "shape up" (shanto shite) is written with the shan part (which is usually rendered in hiragana) in katakana. This was likely done to compliment the titular Pokémon's name, Lishan. Even though the sha part in shape up and the sha part in shanto shite are pronounced differently, it's still the best I could do to translate the episode's title while retaining the flavor present in the original Japanese.
3Youkan is a type of Japanese sweet made from red bean paste. Since translating the word youkan would be just as awkward and clunky as it would be to translate something like sushi or samurai, I've decided to just leave it as-is. In the English version of the video games, the item youkan is referred to as "Old Gateau."

1"Those Wonderful Fashion Guys" (Suteki na Fashon) was the name the Rocket-Dan gave the Ginga-Dan since they didn't know the organization's name at the time. There is no dub equivalent.
2The Japanese title is a bit of a play on words that's difficult to translate into English. In Japanese, the phrase that I've translated as "shape up" (shanto shite) is written with the shan part (which is usually rendered in hiragana) in katakana. This was likely done to compliment the titular Pokémon's name, Lishan. Even though the sha part in shape up and the sha part in shanto shite are pronounced differently, it's still the best I could do to translate the episode's title while retaining the flavor present in the original Japanese.
3Youkan is a type of Japanese sweet made from red bean paste. Since translating the word youkan would be just as awkward and clunky as it would be to translate something like sushi or samurai, I've decided to just leave it as-is. In the English version of the video games, the item youkan is referred to as "Old Gateau."
