The Pokemon The Movie XY&Z "Volcanion and the Tricky Magearna" adaptation was written and drawn by Kemon Kawamoto (河本けもん).
The manga artist made his debut as Hiroshi Kawamoto (河本ひろし) in 1985 with What's That Hideyoshi Nya? (ニャンたって秀吉) in Monthly Shonen Magazine. His 1990 series Legend of the Heavenly Sphere Shurato was later adapted into a 38-episode animated series. He's known primarily for his series' sense of humor and big-breasted women.
Recently he's been using the penname Kemon Kawamoto when working on series for kids / young children in recent years.
