Dogasu's Backpack's
23rd Anniversary

Dogasu @ 23:38 JST -- On January 31st, 2000 I started a little Geocities website that would eventually become the site you're on right now, Dogasu's Backpack. I've been doing yearly round-ups for most of that time and so today I've done the same thing. So join me in saying Happy Anniversary! with this year's write-up!
Episode Comparison: "Get Along Little, Pokémon"

Dogasu @ 20:45 JST -- It's time to jump right back into the Orange Islands with the next comparison in line, "Get Along Little, Pokémon" [sic]!
The dialogue in this episode is actually fairly faithful (there are "only" thirteen rewrites!) but there are also episode title shenanigans, new dub music, Pokémon voice acting, name localizations, and the Rocket trio's roles in the show to delve into and so even with fewer dialogue edits there's still a lot to talk about! Look Back - Predictions 2023

Dogasu @ 10:32 JST -- Every year I make an attempt to predict what will happen in the World of Pokémon and then post those predictions on my website as a sort of fun little game. Part of that game is to then check back on those predictions a year later to see how many of my predictions came true. So let's take a look at the stuff I thought would happen in 2023 in my 2023 Predictions Check-In!
I'll be posting my predictions for 2024 when I do my website's anniversary write-up later this month.

The
three CD sets we know of so far -- the soundtracks for Pocket Monsters Sword & Shield,
Legends Arceus, and Scarlet & Violet -- all go on sale at
the end of next month. All known details about each release, as well as
links to where you can pre-order them for yourself, have all been added
to the 2024 page of the CD Guide.
