Dogasu's Backpack | Movies & Specials Guide | BW Movie 01

For the first time in the history of the franchise, two Pocket Monsters movies will be released in Japan in the same year.  The two movies are called Victini and the Black Hero, Zekrom and Victini and the White Hero, Reshiram and, as you can see, the titles are very similar.  But there's a good reason for that.

The movies will be like the games in that they'll have the same base story but contain small differences here and there.  The official website states that things like the pokemon that appear, the attacks they use, and the human characters' dialogue will differ depending on the movie but that the overall story will remain the same.

Below is a list of all the confirmed differences between each movie.  Once the movies are released on DVD / Blu-Ray, a more detailed comparison between the two films will be posted.
