Pocket Monsters BW The Hero of Thunder and Fire ( ポケットモンスターB・W 雷炎の英雄) was first printed in the February 2011 issue of CoroCoro Special. The comic follows the story of a boy named Shin as he travels around the Isshu region with his partner, Pokabu. Along the way, he crosses paths with the Plasma-Dan as well as a mysterious young man named N. While the comic can be light hearted and downright silly at times, it's not a gag manga like some of the other series.
Kanda Satoshi (神田達志) is the writer / artist of the manga.
