Translation
The goal of the following translation is to present the meaning of the song in a competent, coherent way.  It is not meant to be an English version of the song that can be sung along with the melody.

The more friends you have
Definitely, absolutely, tightly,
The better.

To be specific,
Clear, exact, and thorough,
There are one hundred and fifty-one.

With a little courage, you can
Perfectly, firmly, happily,
Get some more friends.

But every once in a while, huh?
Carelessly, completely, heartbreakingly
Those friends run away.

They definitely remember
All of their encounters with you.
But any wounds they have
Will be ~eh?~ forgotten.

Many many
Friends
Are definitely somewhere

One hundred and fifty-one delights
One hundred and fifty-one dreams
One hundred and fifty-one memories

Do your best, and go for it!

The more friends you have
Definitely, absolutely, tightly,
The better.

To be specific,
Clear, exact, and thorough,
There are one hundred and fifty-one.

With a little courage, you can
Perfectly, firmly, happily,
