"Wii no Ma" logo

Welcome to the Wii no Ma - Theater no Ma page!

The "Wii no Ma" (Wiiの間) is a channel available on Japanese Wii systems that enable users to view exclusive television programs through their Wii.  The channel launched on May 21st, 2009 and is currently only available in Japan.

On November 21st, 2009, Nintendo revamped the Wii no Ma and included a new feature that was, at the time, called "Theater no Ma" (シアターの間).  While the regular Wii no Ma channel only offered content made exclusively for the service, the "Theater no Ma" channel featured pre-existing, licensed programming.  Programs available for streaming included various Sesame Street specials, episodes of Hoshi no Kirby, Cyborg 009, and Pocket Monsters.

In 2010, the "Theater no Ma" channel changed names to the "Home Theater" (ホームシアター) channel.  The content remained largely the same.

Theater no Ma

Between November 21st, 2009 and February 28th, 2010, a grand total of 50 episodes from the Jouto portion of the original Pocket Monsters series were made available through the service.  All episodes were available to rent for three days at a cost of 50 Nintendo Points apiece.  All episodes contained the opening theme, eyecatch, ending theme, and Orchid-Hakase segment.

The following is a list of episodes available for download on the service.  While the episodes did cost money to download, certain episodes were available for streaming on certain days at no charge; the date when the episode became free to watch are in brackets.  Free episodes could be accessed in the Pokemon section of the Iron'na Ma (いろんな間) portion of the Theater no Mii section.
