Let's go through each line scene that features Takeshi getting upset at the mention of his time in the Orange Islands. First, from this episode, "A Tent Situation."

On the way to Ookido's lab	Kenji: "Takeshi, what kind of place is Dr. Ookido's laboratory?" ケンジ　「タケシ、オーキド研究所ってどんな所なんだい？」	Tracey: "Brock, I guess you must've been excited the first time you met the professor."
Dr. Ookido meets Takeshi in his lab	Dr. Ookido: "Oh, Takeshi. Dr. Uchikido said to tell me to say hello." オーキド博士　「お～タケシ。ウチキド博士がよろしく言っとったぞ」	Professor Oak: "By the way, Brock. Professor Ivy sends her best regards."
The Rocket trio launches its attack	Nyarth: "I'm sure you were around up until...where was it Nya? That Dr. Uchikido's lab...?" ニャース　「たしかあそこまではいたんだニャ～。ウチキド研究所とかいう」	Meowth: "I thought you was staying back on Valencia Island...with that Professor Ivy."
The Rocket trio uses its giant vacuum to suck up all the Monster Balls in the lab	Nyarth: "Maybe you were plotting something Nya? Over at the Uchikido laboratory?" ニャース　「ニャ～んかたくらんだんじゃニャアのか？ウチキド研究所で」	Meowth: "Maybe ya did somethin' real embarrassin' in front of that Professor Ivy."

I'll bet it's thanks to your time at the Uchikido laboratory you were able to expand your repertoire of tropical foods." カスミ　「さっすが～。ウチキド研究所にいたおかげで南国風のレパートリーも増えたんだ」	Misty: "He did? Well I guess he must have found a really great cookbook when he was working on Valencia Island with Professor Ivy."
Musashi (disguised as a TV host) starts eating the food off Hanako's table.	Musashi: "Ah, this taste reminds of me so much of those southern islands!" ムサシ　「ああ、この味思い出します！南の国を！」	Jessie: "I want to remind you viewers that we're coming to you live. L-I-V-E, live!"
