Kyurem vs. The Sacred Swordsman Keldeo (劇場版ポケットモンスターベストウイッシュ キュレムVS 聖剣士ケルディオ) is an adaptation of the movie of the same name. While on a train to Roshan, Satoshi and his friends spot a badly injured Keldeo. After befriending the pokemon, they're attacked by Kyurem, the legendary pokemon said to be the strongest of all Dragon-Types!! As it chases after our heroes, it shows off its ability to transform into "Black Kyurem" and "White Kyurem!" How will Satoshi and his friends escape from danger?
Momota Inoue (井上桃太) is the writer / author of the adaptation. This is the third year in a row she's provided the manga adaptation of a Pocket Monsters film; she also did the adaptations of The Illusionary Conqueror, Zoroark and Victini and the Black Hero Zekrom.
The first chapter appeared in the July 2012 issue of CoroCoro Comics and was 80 pages long. A second chapter was printed in the August 2012 issue. The remaining 28 pages of the second chapter were printed in the graphic novel when it was released on August 28th, 2012.
The English version of the manga adapation was released by Viz Media on March 5th, 2013.
