The Pocket Monsters The Movie "Koko" Supporters' Podcast - "The Movie Secrets We Want to Tell You" (劇場版ポ ケットモンスター ココ　－サポーターズPodcastーいま、君に伝えたい映画のヒミツ) was a special promotional podcast for Pocket Monsters The Movie "Koko." Every week the show's host would welcome guests from the production side  -- the film's director, voice actors, sound directors, one of the film's composers, the director of the film's trailers, executive producers, etc. -- to come talk about the production of the 23rd Pocket Monsters film. The show provided behind-the-scenes information about both the production of the new movie was well as the animated franchise as a whole.

The first episode came out on Friday, October 9th, 2020 with new episodes premiering most Fridays after that. The show's tenth and final episode was released on Friday December 25th, the same day the 23rd Pocket Monsters film was released in theaters. The show was eventually removed from all distribution platforms on March 31st, 2021.

Fans were able to submit questions for the show's guests in the earlier episodes via the hashtag #ココバナ (KokoBana). The deadline for the first episode was Friday, September 15th at 23:59 JST.

Podcast Host

The podcast was hosted by Mr. Hisanori Yoshida (吉田尚記), an announcer for the Nippon Broadcasting System. Mr. Yoshida won first prize in the "DJ Personality Award" section of the 49th Annual Galaxy Awards held by the Association of Broadcast Critics for the year 2011. He's also a promoter for the Manga Taisho ("Cartoon Grand Prize") awards. He's been a fan of animation for more than 30 years and has had exhibits at the Comiket show the last 28 times in a row, giving him a reputation as being the otaku of the Japanese broadcasting world.
