A number of pokemon were made available for audience members' Pocket Monsters X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire games as part of the movie's promotion.
Pre-order tickets can be bought at the following stores:
Seven-Eleven (not pictured), Ito Yokado, Aeon, Aeon Super Center, Toys 'R' Us, Apita, Piago, Al Plaza, Heiwado, Daiei, Fuji, Pokemon Center stores, Pokemon Store, and participating movie theaters.

Tickets
must be purchased between March 7th (Saturday) and July 17th, 2015
(Friday). Arceus is able to
be downloaded between March 7th (Saturday) and August 31st, 2015
(Monday) by inputting the serial code printed on the pre-order
ticket. You must have the most up-to-date version of your game's
software to receive Arceus. One pokemon per ticket. The
same ticket cannot be
used to download a Arceus in multiple games. This promotion is not compatible with
foreign versions of the games. Not compatible with any other games
in the Pocket Monsters series.

In addition to Arceus, those who purchase
a pre-order ticket will also be able to receive one legendary pokemon
of their choice out of six possible legendaries. Those six
legendaries are Kyogre, Groudon, Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, and Kyurem.
※1 "Glaciate" becomes "Cold Flare" when Kyurem transforms into White Kyurem and "Freeze Bolt" when it transforms into Black Kyurem.
※2 "Scary Face" becomes "Cross Flame" when Kyurem transforms into White Kyurem and "Cross Thunder" when it transforms into Black Kyurem.
Tickets must be purchased between March 7th (Saturday) and July 17th, 2015 (Friday). The legendary pokemon can be downloaded between June 20th (Saturday) and August 31st, 2015 (Monday) by going to one of the stores that sells the pre-order tickets and downloading it there. Seven-Eleven convenience stores and most movie theaters are not set up to allow players to receive their pokemon so players should head to any of the other vendors that sell the tickets to download their legendary pokemon. The legendary pokemon one can choose from will be printed in the "Present Guide" that's distributed when you purchase your ticket but those are subject to change. Please check the official movie website for the most up-to-date information.
Hoopa can be downloaded for Pocket Monsters X, Y, Omega Ruby, or Alpha Sapphire games. One pokemon per ticket. The same ticket cannot be used to download a Hoopa in multiple games and multiple tickets cannot be used to download multiple Hoopa to the same game. Not compatible with any other games in the Pocket Monsters series. This Hoopa cannot be uploaded to the GTS or traded via Wonder Trade. If you've modified your game using any sort of cheat devices then Hoopa may either not download correctly or may corrupt your save data in some way.
The first 30,000 fans to pre-order tickets at participating movie theaters will receive a special The Archdjinn of the Rings, Hoopa clear file.
You can make legendary pokemon "appear" on the file by pulling back the film covering it.
From Saturday, March 7th, 2015 at 10:01am to Friday, July 17th, 2015 at 10:00am customers can reserve a special pre-order ticket set for Pokémon the movie XY "The Archdjinn of the Rings, Hoopa" and "Pikachu and the Pokemon Band" for 3,180 yen. The special package contains the pre-order movie ticket with the serial codes for both Arceus and the legendary pokemon, a pamphlet explaining how to redeem said serial codes, and the DVD containing the short Appear, the Small Djinn Hoopa. This special set is exclusive to Seven-Eleven stores in Japan.
The special set can be picked up starting Friday, June 19th at 7:00am. Those who reserve the set from June 16th onwards will be able to pick the set up four days later. You will not be able to obtain the pre-order bonus Arceus for your Generation VI Pocket Monsters games until this date since you won't be given the movie ticket with the serial code on it until then. You pay for the ticket set the day you pick it up.
