Those scenes with the Monster Balls coming out of a Gacha sure do have this fresh feel to them, don't they? It feels more modern, somehow.

Hayashibara (Musashi):  "When we started using the Gacha, I thought about how there's no way Musashi would be able to just pick up on what attacks those Pokémon can use right away. And so that's why, maybe, I ad-libbed a little bit of my lines."

Inuyama (
Nyarth):  "You changed it to something like "Do something cool!", didn't you?"

Hayashibara (Musashi):  "Yeah, that's it. At some point after that, they decided to add in those little papers with the list of attacks on them so that Musashi could have something to refer to as she was giving out orders."

Miki (Kojirou):  "You're reading the attacks as you're saying them and so you're able to really give those battles everything you've got."

So in those first scripts, Musashi would have no problems battling and commanding attacks?

Hayashibara (Musashi):  "That's right. Kojirou can rattle off attack names without any problems but there's no way Musashi would just all of a sudden know what kind of attacks some Pokémon she just met can use. Heck, even with her own Sonansu there's that one attack that's like Counter...it's, um...what's it called again?"

Ueda (Sonansu):  "Mirror Coat!"

Hayashibara (Musashi):  "Oh yeah, Mirror Coat. In real life I can't even tell the two of those apart and so asking me to do the same for a Pokémon I'm only just now seeing for the first time is completely pointless."

(Everyone laughs)
