Four years.

Y'know, the fourth anniversary of a website usually isn't that big a deal.  The third anniversary is kinda special since few websites make it to three years, and the fifth anniversary is usually celebrated because five is just one of those special numbers that people like.  But the fourth anniversary?  Eh, it's not that big a deal.  It's like turning 17...it's one of those middle birthdays that nobody really pays attention to.

Now, don't get me wrong--I'm glad to have been here for four years.  Why, in this past year alone, I've done about (by my count) 38 Episode Comparisons (I know, it's still quite a few less than the 50 I promised last year), I've completed a bunch of Humans' Bios, I've completely revamped the CD Guide and Movies section (thanks Daizenshuu EX!), and I've added the Video Game Clichés, DVD Guide, and TV Schedule sections to the site.  I've also cleaned things up a little bit, and I think that right now my site looks the best that it's ever looked.

But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop there.  I want to finish the Seiyuu page this year, and I want to get a lot of the Humans' Bios done as well.  And, of course, there are the Episode Comparisons that I'll continue doing.  Other than that--your guess is as good as mine.

However, this year will be different from other years because, for the first time ever, this site will go on hiatus.  On March 21st, I will be leaving to study abroad in Nagoya, Japan.  I'll be there for about four months, and it'll be a great opportunity for me to brush up on my language skills.  However, since I don't have a laptop (and won't be getting one before I leave), my computer's staying put.  So what does that mean for this site?  Well, for those four months I'm away, I'm afraid that this site will have to go on hiatus.  It'll still be up, but it just won't be updated for the time I'm in Japan.  I know that a lot of you may think that after those four months I won't return, but I assure you that that's not the case.  The site will return, because at this point I've been doing it for so long that it would feel weird not to.
