There are hundreds and hundreds of Digimon characters, and remembering their names can be difficult.  It's a task made even more difficult when some of these characters get their names changed for the English versions of the TV shows and games.  The lists linked to on this page should help you sort these out.

The Digimon are listed in the order in which they debuted in the various TV series.

Each of the pages linked to below contains a table that
shows the episode of the TV series in which the Digimon debuted, the Digimon's English name, the Digimon's Japanese name, and the meaning of the part of the name(s) that comes before the -mon suffix.  You may notice that many of the romanizations I've settled on differ from the ones on official merchandise and on other fan sites.  I'm not happy with just copying and pasting work other people have done, so I've gone over each and every Digimon name myself and have carefully chose romanizations I feel to be both the most accurate and best captures the intended meaning.
