  The first Pocket Monsters video game came out in 1996 for a dying handheld system.  At first the game sold below expectations, and Nintendo of America was even apprehensive about bringing such a Japanese series over to the U.S. 

Now, over a decade later, the main games continue to break sales records, indicating that the video game franchise is far from over.  With over ten years of releases out on the market, keeping track of what game came out for what system can be a daunting task.  That's where this section comes in.

Click on the logos below to find out about the games released on each system.  Under the profile for each game, you'll be able to read a brief description, a list of changes made for the North American release (if applicable), and any random trivia I was able to find.  I know there's a ton of things I missed, so if any of you have anything to add to this section, please feel free to send me an e-mail.
