Digimon Digital Monsters
first aired on August 14th, 1999 in America on Fox Kids stations around the country.  While the Digimon dub was seen as being unique for keeping a lot of the Japanese names intact, the English version still contained just as many changes, rewrites, and edits as every other anime dub on TV during that same period.

Would you like to know what changes were made to the series?  You've come to the right place.

General edits in every episode

Please note that whenever I use the dubbed names in the comparisons, I'm talking about the dubbed version.  When I use the Japanese names, I'm talking about the Japanese version.  So me saying something like "Yamato has a much deeper voice than Matt" is just a shorter way of me saying "The Japanese version of Yamato sounds a lot deepr than the English version of Yamato."
