Hikakin's filming a new YouTube video introducing the Pokémon Trading Card game. His YouTube channel, HikakinTV, already has 19 and a half million subscribers, and he thinks this new video will help bring that number up even further.

Suddenly, the editor-in-chief at CoroCoro Comics, Masuespar, appears in front of Hikakin. He mentions how the company he works for also has its own YouTube channel (CoroCoro Channel) but that it doesn't have nearly as many subscribers as his does. So maybe they should team up...? Hikakin doesn't really love the idea at first -- dressing up like the CoroCoro dragon mascot seems kind of humiliating -- so Masuespar proposes they play the Pokémon Trading Card Game instead. That'll make for a great video, right? Masuespar chooses to use Start Deck 100 Battle Collection No. 073 while Hikakin goes with the Start Deck 100 Battle Collection that came with the debut issue of CoroCiao.

On Hikakin's turn, he places an Emonga in the Active Spot and attaches a Basic Electric Energy card to it. He ends the turn by having it use "Static Shock" to deal 20 damage to his opponent's Nyabby.

Hikakin, meanwhile, is busy beatboxing over in the corner, distracting Masuespar.

The game continues on for another fifteen minutes, and it's now Hikakin's turn. Masuespar basically has an army of Pokémon at this point; a Gekkouga ex in the Active Spot, and a Gaogaen ex, Freezer, and Ulgamoth on his Bench.

Masuespar figures Hikakin wants to use Pikachu's "Volt Tackle" attack, which deals an impressive 210 damage, but he isn't too worried since his opponent doesn't have enough Basic Energy cards attached to pull it off.

Hikakin starts the round by using a brand new card, Influencer's Introduction. The text reads:

Influencer's Introduction
Draw 3 cards while introducing your favorite Pokémon to your opponent. If your feelings are conveyed to your opponent, your opponent may say "Like!"

Hikakin tells his opponent his favorite Pokémon (it's Metamon) and then draws three cards. One of the cards he draws just so happens to be a Basic Electric Energy card, so he attaches it to his Pikachu ex, giving it enough Basic Energy cards to use its "Volt Tackle" attack. The attack does 420 damage, thanks to Gekkouga ex's weakness to Electric-Type attacks, causing it to be knocked out. And with this, Hikakin wins the match!

Now that Hikakin's won he wonders what he should get the editor to do for him as a reward. Suddenly, he gets an idea; he'll get him work at his ramen restaurant Misokin for free for the next year! As tears stream down the CoroCoro editor's face Hikakin tells everyone to go out and play the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

The End

Notes
The deck used by Hikakin is the
Start Deck 100 Battle Collection CoroCiao Ver., a special version of the deck that came packaged with the debut issue of the magazine CoroCiao.

Author Comment
The Pokémon Trading Card Game is interesting, and HikakinTV is interesting, and so when you put those two interesting things like that together you're bound to get something really amazing.

ポケカは面白い、ヒカキンTVも面白い、面白いと面白いが駆け合わさったらきっと凄いコトになるのだ。
