Hikakin's Gonna Play the Pokémon TCG Today As Well artist / writer Kazutoshi Soyama (曽山 一寿) was born on September 24th, 1978 in Tokyo.
Mr. Soyama started his career at the magazine Comic BonBon, where he worked as an assistant for a couple of years. He later got hired by CoroCoro and in 2001 started the series Desperate & Dangerous Gramps (絶体絶命でんぢゃ らすじーさん), a comic that quickly became one of CoroCoro Comics' main attractions. Mr. Soyama's series are primarily gag comics aimed at elementary school aged children.
