7 Pages Theme: The Pokémon are asked to come up with goals for the new school semester. Untitled Prologue Nyahoja's goal is to use its "Sweet Scent" to make everyone relax...though the effect on Teacher Parmot seems to be a bit more than it had in mind. Hogator's Goal (ホゲータの目標) Hogator's goal for the new semester is to go on a diet! But will going from eight sweets a day to seven really be enough to make a difference? Kuwassu's Goal (クワッスの目標) Kuwassu's goal is for everyone in the class to have hair as well coiffed as it has, though the other students aren't exactly thrilled about having to put wax on their heads. Teacher Parmot (パーモット先生) The class' teacher, Parmot, has a goal to stop forgetting things so much, though even this goal is quickly forgotten. No Running in the Halls (ろうかを走らない) Anokusa's "no running in the halls" goal is easy enough to follow -- rolling around isn't the same thing as "running," right? Gakegani on the Wall (カベのガケガニ) Gakegani also has a goal of not running in the hall -- running along the walls of the hall doesn't count, right? Jiodumu's Salt (ジオヅムのしお) Jiodumu helps Nyahoja stick to its "no running in the hall" goal by using its powerful stream of salt to push the Grass-Type along. Orachifu's Goal (オラチフの目標) Orachifu decides to join the other students who have made "smile when we say hello" goal, though its "smile" could use a bit of work. Get Fired Up! Carbou (もえろ!カルボウ) Carbou's goal is to greet its classmates with tons of energy, but the amount of time it takes to pump itself up causes its greetings to come a bit too late. Arukujira's Cold Receptions (さぶさぶアルクジラ) Arukujira also joins in on the greet its classmates with tons of energy goal, putting its own punny twist on things. Untitled Epilogue Teacher Parmot makes one final, class-wide goal: let's make this classroom a bright and cheery place! Unfortunately, a few of the Electric-Type students take the "bright" part of this goal a bit too literally. Notes
These comic strips were included as part of the "Nintendo All Star Gag Book" (ニンテンドーオールスターギャグBOOK), a supplemental booklet that came with the May 2025 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban! ![]() The new school year typically begins in April in Japan, which is probably what prompted the "new semester" theme of this series of comic strips. 7 Pages Theme: The Pokémon students go on a field trip. Untitled Prologue The students' teacher, Parmot, tells everyone about their upcoming field trip to a park at the top of a mountain. Up to 200 (200まで) Confusion arises among the Pokémon students about the exact meaning of their teacher's rule about bringing snacks that are "up to 200." Arukujira's Cold Receptions (さぶさぶアルクジラ) Arukujira can't help itself from making bad puns about its "sweet" water bottle and its laid back backpack. Zupika Alarm (ズピカけいほう) Concerns about the students getting lost prompt Zupika to suggest they take their field trip a little closer to home. Carbou the Leader (リーダーカルボウ) The teacher breaks the students into groups and assigns certain Pokémon as their leaders. Carbou gets so fired up by its leadership role it somehow gets its group to run 30 laps around the school! Nonokurage the Leader (リーダーノノクラゲ) The leader of another student group, Nonokurage, likes running through the mud so much it purposefully chooses a path that requires its students to do the same! Follow Me~! (ついてこーい!) Gakegani tries to lead its group straight up the side of a cliff while Buroron inadvertently blows exhaust fumes into its students' faces. Observatory (てんぼう台) The students reach the top of the hill and find an observatory. The Pokémon students complain about it the tower being too tall and so Dekanuchan decides to pound it flat with its giant hammer. Telescope (望遠鏡) A telescope in the observatory proves a unique challenge for Wakkanezumi. Lunch Boxes (お弁当) The backback on Sebie's back is frozen solid, trapping the Pokémon's lunch box in a block of ice! A Delicious View (おいしい景色) The mountain view isn't the only thing "delicious" about Hogator's and Gourton's time on the field trip. 7 pages Theme: The Pokémon students hold a scare-a-thon Untitled Prologue Parmot explains how they'll turn the schoolhouse into a haunted house, scaring Minive in the process. The Sound of Fear (きょうふの音) Hogator's fear of a creepy gurgling noise goes away when it finds out it's just the sound of its rumbling stomach! Jumpscare (とびあがる) A jumpscare aimed at Mamebata causes the Pokémon to literally go through the roof. Kanuchan's Hammer (カヌチャンのハンマー) A sudden scream from Nyahoja scares Kanuchan into dropping its hammer right in front of the Grass-Type, causing it to scream as a result. Zupika Alarm (ズピカけいほう) Nyahoja mistakes the eerily floating Zupika for a ghost. Counting Steps (カウントダウン) Zupika's desire to have this be a safe haunted house inspires it to pass out a map that includes where all the jumpscares are going to be, even going so far as to map out how many steps are in between each one! The Proud Orachifu (おらおらオラチフ) The students who put on the haunted house want to use Orachifu's face to scare visitors, but for some reason it decides to dress up like a ghost instead...? Moist Nonokurage (しっとりノノクラゲ) A damp handkerchief on a fishing rod's used to scare visitors, though Pokémon like Nonokurage actually welcome the moisture provided. Shining Surfugo (キラキラサーフゴー) Surfugo uses its shiny coins to make various haunted house staples -- floating balls of fire, ghosts -- with mixed results. Arukujira's (Kick the) Bucket (アルクジラのおばけ) The pun-loving Arukujira makes a "ghost" out of a large bucket. Untitled Epilogue To reward the students for making it through the haunted house their teachers gives them the scariest thing of all: homework for summer vacation! Notes These comic strips can be read for free on the CoroCoro Comics website. These comic strips, which are usually printed in a supplemental book that comes packaged with each issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!, were printed within the actual pages of the magazine itself.

7 Pages Theme: The Pokémon work on a school garden. Untitled Prologue Kuwassu uses a hoe to till the soil, inspiring Arukujira to deliver yet another one of its terrible puns. Get Nakanuchan (ナカヌチャンゲット) Nakanuchan's quest for the perfect hammer leads to it swiping the metal blade off of Hogator's hoe! Get Fired Up Carbou(もえろカルボウ) Carbou vigorously digs up the soil, so much so that it even starts to break the bedrock below! Sowing Seeds (タネまき) Otoshidori tries sowing seeds across the garden from high up in the sky, though its aim could use a bit of work. Are Those Seeds...? (タネ…?) Collecurei and Kanuchan believe they can get more of the things they love -- gold coins and hammers, respectively -- by planting their metal possessions in the school garden as if they were seeds. Proud Orachifu (オラオラオラチフ) Orachifu stares intently at a sprout that's popped up, stressing the poor baby plant out! Watering the Plants (水やり) Hogator waters the plants, while Nonokurage waters...itself!? Harvest 1 (収穫①) Kuwassu's excited about how delicious all the plants look, while Mimizuzu's more interested in the soil surrounding them. Harvest 2 (収穫②) Nokokocchi decides to help bring in the plants...to its underground lair!? Arukujira's Cold Receptions (さぶさぶアルクジラ) Arukujira wants to know if everyone's "see-d" what all they've accomplished, but it seems like nobody's really "digging" its puns. Untitled Epilogue The Pokémon students use Anokusa as a makeshift basket to put all their vegetables in, causing the Grass/Ghost-Type to run away! 7 Pages Theme: The Pokémon do arts and crafts Untitled Prologue Shirushrew has trouble coloring inside the lines. Still Life (えをかこう) Nyahoja's having trouble acting as a still life model and so Sebie uses its freezing ice powers to help out. Dekanuchan's Picture (デカヌチャンの絵) A still life drawing of Berries is easy to make; all you gotta to do is use Dekanuchan's hammer to flatten them enough so you can just glue them onto your canvas! Clay (ねんど) Arukujira's chilly puns really do break the mold! Cuespatra the Model (モデルのクエスパトラ) Cuespatra volunteers to be a model...but then gets upset at everyone staring at it!? Get Fired Up! Carbou (もえろ!カルボウ) Carbou doesn't want to make just any sculpture of a mountain, it wants to make a 1:1 scale replica of one! Harabarie's Pranks (ハラバリーのいたずら) Harabarie bouncing up and down make it a lousy model, but Nyahoja finds a way to create a rendering of it anyway. Cardboard Box (ダンボール) Parmot brings out cardboard boxes for the next set of arts and crafts projects, but ends up using one of them as a bed...!? Vending Machine (自動はんばい機) Collecurei lures students into inserting coins into the vending machine it made out of a cardboard box before running off with their money! Piñata (くす玉) A piñata made of a cardboard box is ruined when Upah (Paldea Form) and Kanuchan fill it up with toxic sludge and metal hammers, respectively. Ball Toss Game (まと当てゲーム) A ball toss game made out of a cardboard box becomes the "target" of more of Arukujira's bad puns. Notes

7 Pages Theme: The Pokémon work together on their end-of-year school cleaning. Untitled Prologue The students clean out their desks before the end of the year, though their teacher isn't exactly happy with what they find. Zupika Alarm (ズピカけいほう) Zupika puts wheels on the legs of the students' desks to make them safer to move around, though this ends up actually making them more dangerous. It Passed Right Through (すりぬけちゃう) Nyahoja wants to use Anokusa as a wastebasket, not realizing that the various openings in its body are going to make that difficult. Gourton the Glutton (グルメなグルトン) Gourton decides to use its large nose as a vacuum cleaner. Arukujira's Cold Reception (さぶさぶアルクジラ) The pun-loving Arukujira makes its own vacuum cleaner, though it kind of sucks. Fired Up! Damp! (もえるじめじめ) Carbou, always looking to take things to the next level, uses an oversized piece of cloth as a rag. Luckily, the now-damp cloth also happens to make the perfect blanket for Nonokurage! Spick-and-Span (ピカピカ) The students get the classroom sparkling clean while their teacher enjoys the view. Upah's Poison (ウパーのどく) Upah (Paldea Form) rubs its face against the clean window to see how smooth it is, inadvertently dirtying it up with its poison sludge! Zupika Alarm 2 (ズピカけいほう2) Zupika's afraid the newly mopped floor is too slippery and so its spreads dirt around to make it safer to walk. Slippery (つるつる) Minive spreads its oil and Sebie creates ice on the walls to make the classroom more smooth. Shirushrew the Artist (かきかきシルシュル―) The plain white walls of the newly cleaned classroom are too much for Shirushrew to handle and so it decides to spread its graffiti everywhere! Notes
