When The Cocoon of Destruction and Diancie opens on July 19th, a number of special events will be held to commemorate the movie's release.  One of these events is the "Opening Day Special Greeting" (初日舞台挨拶).

General Information

Date:  July 19th, 2014 (Saturday)

Time:  There will be three stage events:  one that takes place after the 8:20am showing of the film, one that takes place before the 11:40am showing, and one that takes place before the 14:25 showing.

Venue:  Toho Cinemas Nichigeki (Yurakucho, Tokyo)

Who's Coming to the Event

The big draw of this event is that the director of the movie and a bunch of the voice actors will be attending.  The line-up will be different depending on which time you go.

The official website warns that the line-up may change at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances.

How to get a seat at the event

Tickets to the event will be determined through a random drawing.  Those interested in attending can enter the lottery one of two ways.

1.  Applying Online

Fans  who want to attend can fill out a form online and register that way.  Those who go this route will, if chosen, be sent a postcard in the mail that can then be taken to the information desk of the movie theater the day of the event and exchanged for a ticket.  The application deadline is Wednesday, July 9th at noon and the winners can expect to receive their postcards on Friday, July 11th. 
You can only apply for the 8:20am event through this method.

1,800 yen (adults)
1,500 yen (university and college students)
1,000 yen (minors, senior citizens, handicapped). 

Those who already have a pre-order ticket can exchange that for a ticket to the event.

Exchanging the ticket
Those who are lucky enough to win the lottery can exchange their postcard for a ticket to the event at the venue (Toho Cinemas Nichigeki) between 10:00 and 19:00 from July 16th until July 19th.  A form of ID is also required to receive a ticket.

2.  Purchasing a special lottery ticket

Another option fans have is to purchase a special lottery ticket online with their credit cards.  The lottery ticket can be purchased between 18:00 on July 4th until 11:00 on July 15th.  The winners will be announced at 20:00 on July 15th.

Only credit cards will be accepted as a form of payment.

2,000 yen (adults)
1,7000 yen (university and college students (please bring your student ID))
1,200 yen (minors, senior citizens, handicapped)

Exchanging the ticket
If you win the lottery then you'll be able to pick up a ticket from any of the following shops:

Any shop with a Ticket Pia machine
Circle K convenience stores
7-11 convenience stores
