Zarude of the Okoya Forest
August 7th, 2020 ~ TBD
Games to which the "Celebi of Okoya Forest" and "Zarude of Okoya Forest" can be downloaded
Pocket Monsters Sword
Pocket Monsters Shield

The Mythical Pokémon cannot be downloaded to Pokémon Home or any other Pocket Monsters games
Required software versions
Software upgrades can be downloaded for free from the Nintendo eShop
Whatever the latest software version is at the time the download period starts will be what's required to receive the Mythical Pokémon listed above.

The Pocket Monsters Sword & Shield Expansion Pass, however, will not be required to receive either the "Celebi of Okoya Forest" or the "Zarude of Okoya Forest."
What you'll need
A pre-order ticket with valid serial codes
A wireless Internet connection
A Nintendo Account
A Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch Lite with enough battery left over that it won't shut off in the middle of the download
A copy of Pocket Monsters Sword or Shield

※A Nintendo Switch Online account (which is different from the aforementioned Nintendo Account) is not required
How to download
Two 16-digit serial codes - one for Celebi, one for Zarude -  will be printed on either the separate print-outs you receive when you pre-order (if you buy your ticket from Seven-Eleven) or on the back of your pre-order ticket (if you buy it from anywhere else).

Navigate to the Mystery Gift menu in your Pocket Monsters video game and input the serial codes, one by one, to receive the Mythical Pokémon.

Your Pokémon will be either be added to your current team (if you have less than six Pokémon on hand) or directly to your Pokémon PC box.

Things to remember about the gift Pokémon
You can only receive one of each Pokémon per ticket, though it is possible to obtain multiple Celebi / Zarude on the same save file by buying multiple pre-order tickets.

The Pokémon cannot be downloaded outside the specified download period.

These gift Pokémon cannot be downloaded to any Pocket Monsters series games other than the ones listed above.

If you've modified your game using any sort of cheat devices then Celebi and Zarude may not download correctly. Additionally, using these devices may corrupt your save data and cause you to permanently lose all your game progress.

The Celebi and Zarude you receive are game data; they are not physical items like stuffed animals or a figurines.

Please be aware that the download periods for the "Celebi of Okoya Forest" and the "Zarude of Okoya Forest" are not the same. You will not be able to receive the Pokémon outside the designated download dates.

Things to remember about the Serial Code
Your Nintendo Switch will need to be able to connect to the Internet in order to receive the serial code gifts.

Those who wish to receive the serial code gift Pokémon will need to have created a Nintendo Account. That account will then need to be linked to the user account used when playing Pocket Monsters Sword or Pocket Monsters Shield.

Please make sure your game has been updated to the latest version.

Each pre-order ticket will have two serial codes, one for the "Celebi of Okoya Forest" and a second one for the "Zarude of Okoya Forest." You will receive one Pokémon per serial code.

If you purchase multiple pre-order tickets you'll be able to download as many "Celebi of Okoya Forest" and "Zarude of Okoya Forest" as you have tickets.

You will not be able to re-download your gift Pokémon if you use your serial codes on another game's save file, or if you download the gift Pokémon but then delete your save data.

You will not be able to use your serial codes if the download period has passed.

If you mistakenly input a serial code 10 times then you will be temporarily locked out from entering any more codes. Wait about six hours before trying again.

More information can be found on the official movie website.

Pre-Order Bonuses - Fashion Items

The Expansion Pass DLC is not required to obtain either "Celebi of the Okoya Forest" or "Zarude of the Okoya Forest." However, those who bring their "Zarude of the Okoya Forest" to the DLC-exclusive Isle of Armor will be able to receive an "Adventure Cap" (ぼうけんキャップ), an in-game Fashion Item that looks just like the one Satoshi wears in the movie!

To receive the hat, have your "Zarude of the Okoya Forest" either in your party or in one of your Pokémon Boxes and then talk to this woman inside the Isle of Armor Station.

Players can view their "Adventure Cap" in the fitting room of any in-game boutique. The latest version of Pocket Monsters Sword or Pocket Monsters Shield will be required to download the Fashion Item.

Those who go see Pocket Monsters The Movie "Coco" in movie theaters may also be able to obtain the "Adventure Cap" as a gift just for seeing the movie. These "Attendance Gifts"
(入場者プレゼント) will be available in limited quantities. More details will be announced at a later date.

"Exploration Party Pikachu" Charm

The "Exploration Party Pikachu" (探検ピカチュウ) charm will also be given out at participating movie theaters to those who bought a pre-order ticket to Pocket Monsters The Movie "Coco."

A total of 300,000 charms will be made available nationwide while supplies last. One charm per pre-order ticket. Not for resale.  Please understand that each movie theater will only be supplied with a limited number of charms. The final product may differ from the design seen above.
