Pocket Monsters BW Version (title unconfirmed) is the fourth sequel series to Anakubo Kousaku's long-running Pocket Monsters series. It details the misadventures of Red, his loud-mouthed Pippi, and Pikachu as they travel around the Isshu region. It is very loosely based on the Pocket Monsters Black & White video games and is assumed to contain many stories that have nothing to do with...well, anything, really. The series is promoted as a "gag manga" and is more about delivering laughs and showing off strange situations than it is trying to tell a coherent story or be faithful to the games.
The title I use for this series is Pocket Monsters BW Version, but that title has not been confirmed as of this writing. It is merely an assumption based on the naming conventions of previous titles in the series.
