of Myuutwo
"I'm
usually an author who just lies around on the floor in my house, but
when I'm working on a manga all I want to do is go outside and
play. It can't be helped, I guess. But then as soon as I
finish, I go right back to lounging around the house.
The portrait you see of me above was drawn for me by my classmate Okitsune Chihiro!" - Inoue Momota, inside the dust cover for the graphic novel version of The Extreme Speed Genosect and the Awakening of Myuutwo. The The Extreme Speed Genosect and the Awakening of Myuutwo adaptation will be written and drawn by Inoue Momota (井上桃太). The 28-year old artist is a graduate of the Japan Designer School (日本デザイナー学院). She made her debut in 2006 with the series 赤きエンザ (Akaki Enza, "Red Enza"). The series, which ran in CoroCoro Comics from 2006 until 2008, earned her the 58th semiannual Shogakukan Newcomer Comic Award (第58回小学館新人コミック大賞).
