Monsters ~ Liko's Adventure ~ is being written and
drawn by Kahori Orito (おりとかほり). It is one of two Pocket
Monsters-related
manga being drawn by this artist, with Pocket Monsters ~ Pucchi Gumi Special ~

Kahori Orito is known for primarily doing manga for the various Ciào magazines in Japan. These include Ciào Deluxe Horror, where she did various horror one-shots, and regular Ciào, where she provided more typical shojo fare. A lot of her early works were single chapter stories that were eventually collected into anthologies including Stories That'll Scare You to Death, Horror Masterpiece Selection: Fear, A Book to Read When You Want to Cry, A Girl in Love: The Secret of Being Cute, I Can Tell You How to Have Your First Love, Childhood Friends - A Secret of You and Me -, and Cruel Girls Stories ~ The Hunter Killer ~.
From 2021, Ms. Orito started branching out to do her own series, starting with Garugaku and going on from there. Pocket Monsters ~ Liko's Treasure ~ will be Ms. Orito's first Pocket Monsters manga, but it won't be her first adaptation; books like Ju-On: The Beginning of the End and Garugaku are both "comicalizations" of other stories.
According to the official Ciào website, Ms. Orito's birthday is September 1st, and her hobbies include video games and sports.
