You'd think I'd just get a new host or something :/
October 8th, 2003
The last two titles for Pokémon Master Quest have been added...and boy, did they finish with the worst pun yet. Good job, 4Kids, you've outdone yourself.
And that's it. I've got two tests to study for (and both of them are back-to-back o_O) so I can't do any bigger update than this. Sorry 'bout that.
won't this %#@* background work!?
I really don't know what the problem is. Without getting into a lot of boring HTML talk, it seems that my plan to fudge with the orangish-tannish background color isn't working out. So I'll just change it back to the way it was (for the front page, at least) until I can figure out what's wrong. The thing is, everything's showing up as working fine when I open up Netscape Composer, but when I upload everything the background's not there.
Anyway, on to the update. After many many months, I finally got around to writing a bio for Mikuri, the final Houen Gym Leader. I'll update the other Gym Leaders with those nicer-looking game sprites and the Game Freak pictures and other newer info later, but for now ya get this. I also went and updated the Gym Badges page, so now it has all the Gym Badges from Ruby/Sapphire!
I'll try to have an update tomorrow, but with two exams to study for on Thursday I'm not so sure about having the time for an update.
Updates, Day Four
Kasumi's Pokemon page has been updated with all sorts of spoilery stuff. I've also changed a few format things on the page that I'll have to apply to the other pages when I get more time. I've also made a small update to Kasumi's bio page.
anyone else as impressed as I was at last night's Rurouni Kenshin?
Wow, look at all these daily updates...wonder how long I can keep this up...
I'd update with more, but the Big O is about to come on in a few.
"Myuutsu no GYAGUshuu"
I've been reading the one Pocket Monsters manga (the one with the loudmouth talking Pippi as the main character) that I have so that I can open up a section for that particular title, so I can get that up and running, here's a few things for you to look at.
First of all, I've finally updated all the Advanced Generation and Weekly Pokemon Broadcasting Station Weekly Pictures pages. Yeah, it has nothing on the sometimes daily screenshot bananza that Serebii.net has, but I like to keep that section updated for my own purposes. In addition, I've revised Kasumi's bio quite a bit to reflect what she's been up to since she left the group, and if my computer will cooperate I can get some more pictures of her from her Advanced Generation appearances. I've also updated the pages for the AG ending themes, "Because the Sky is There" and "Polka 'O Dolka" to reflect the recent change in ED's in Japan. I didn't get around to updating Kasumi's pokemon page, but I'll get that updated within the next update or so.
Also, I have a bit of news--starting in November, Cartoon Network (the U.S. version, anyway) will begin premiering the first three Pokémon movies as part of their Friday night line-ups. I know the movies have appeard on HBO in the past, but this is the first time they've made it to a basic cable network. The schedule is as follows:
The First Movie: Friday, November 7th, 8 PM
Cartoon Network did air a commercial this summer for their Cartoon Theatre movies and showed clips from the first mini-movie during the ad, but they never got around to showing it. But the fact that they aired clips from the mini-movie in the ads leads me to believe that the mini-movies will be aired along with the main features.
And now I'm gonna search online for some (cheap) Pokemon manga. Wish me luck!
UPDATE: Wow, two updates in one day!? When was the last time I did that!? Anyway, I have an Episode Comparison up for this morning's episode (hint: it was unedited).
Another quick update--I'll have a Kasumi-centered update later on.
First of all, all of the curren Episode Guides (Jouto, Houen, and Housou) have been updated. I've also updated the Comparison Links page and have added an item to the FAQ. And finally, a little more information about Pocket Monsters Fire Red/Leaf Green and the hardware it'll be packaged with has been added.
also aware that the orangish-tannish background color to some of the
recently-updated (the ones with the Arial font) aren't showing up for
reason. I'm looking into that...
