Comparison of the Day:  Day 21
May 31st, 2005

Here's the last comparison for the month of May, "Going, Going, Yawn."  Tomorrow I'll have "Going for a Spinda" ready.

Comparison of the Day:  Day 20
May 30th, 2005

Here's "Poetry Commotion."  There's actually an edit to report in this episode, so it's not as boring as the last few comparisons have been.

Tomorrow is "Going, Going Yawn."  After that, I'll have a dozen episodes left to compare before I'm all caught up.

Comparison of the Day:  Day 19
May 29th, 2005

Hey, I almost didn't get this posted in time.

"Fight for the Meteorite" is up now.  I went to do the comparison for "That's Just Swellow," but the tape I had recorded it on kept messing up when I played it back, so I won't be able to compare that episode until Kids' WB! decides to rerun it.

I've also updated the various episode guides and the TV Schedule.

Tomorrow is the first part of the Flannery battle, "Poetry Commotion."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 18
May 28th, 2005

Here's "Game Winning Assist."  I've also added a dialogue edit to "Cheer Pressure" that I forgot to add yesterday.

Since I have to work today, I won't have the time to get the comparison for "That's Just Swellow" ready until tomorrow afternoon, at the earliest.  Expect to see that (and possibly "Fight for the Meteorite") tomorrow.

Comparison of the Day:  Day 17
May 27th, 2005

"Cheer Pressue," the 52nd episode of Advanced Generation, is now up.  Tomorrow will be "Game Winning Assist."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 16
May 26th, 2005

Today:  "Come What May!"  Tomorrow will be "Cheer Pressure."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 15
May 25th, 2005

"Maxxed Out!" is up.  Whoo.

Tomorrow I'll have to skip "Pros and Con Artists" (I don't have the dubbed version) and go straight to "Come What May."  After that, the only other episode I don't have in the Advanced Challenge season is "Manectric Charge," so I should be able to more or less be able to keep knocking these things out one by one.

Comparison of the Day:  Day 14
May 24th, 2005

Wow, I've actually kept up this whole daily update schedule for two weeks now.  Amazing.

Anyway, "Candid Camerupt" is now up.  I've also added a note to the "A Togepi Mirage!" comparison that I forgot to add yesterday regarding the ending theme.

Tomorrow I'll have to skip two episodes and go straight to "Maxed Out," since I don't have the dubbed versions of "I Feel Skitty" and "Zig Zag Zangoose" on tape anywhere.

Comparison of the Day:  Day 13
May 23rd, 2005

"A Togepi Mirage!" is up.  Tomorrow is "Candid Camerupt."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 12
May 22nd, 2005

"The Princess and the Togepi" is up now.

Tomorrow is "A Togepi Miracle."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 11
May 21st, 2005

I know what you guys want.  Here's "Let Bagons be Bagons" and "Pearls are a Spoink's Best Friend."

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go cry about the fate of the One Piece episode that aired today on 4Kids TV.  The puny edits done to Pocket Monsters is NOTHING compared to all the crap One Piece has to go through.

Comparison of the Day:  Day 10
May 20th, 2005

"Love at First Flight" is up.  I've also added a small addition to the "Watt's with Wattson" comparison.

Tomorrow you'll get "Let Bagons be Bagons" and "Pearls are a Spoink's Best Friend."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 09
May 19th, 2005

The comparison for the Pokémon Advanced Challenge season premiere, "What You Seed is What You Get" is now up.  I would have had this up sooner, but my car's flat tire required me to spend time away from my computer so that I would have a way to get to work today.

Tomorrow is "Love at First Flight."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 08
May 18th, 2005

Here's "Watt's with Wattson."

So I'm only four episodes shy of having all of the sixth American season compared.  I don't have the Japanese versions of those episodes,

Comparison of the Day:  Day 07
May 17th, 2005

Hey, I've been doing these daily updates for a week now without missing a single day.  I think I'll keep the momentum going.

"A Poké-BLOCK Party" is up now.  Tomorrow will be the Pokémon Advanced season finale, "Watt's with Watson."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 06
May 16th, 2005

Want to read about an episode with a pointless paint edit?  Then head on over to "A Different Kind of Misty."  I had to guess about the spellings of the English names, so if any of you are able to confirm / correct the names I have listed, I'd appreciate it.

Tomorrow is "A Pokéblock Party."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 05
May 15th, 2005

"Jump for Joy!" is up, and there are actually some edits to report this time around.  Tomorrow will be "A Different Kind of Misty."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 04
May 14th, 2005

I would have had these up earlier today, but I kept getting interrupted whenever I tried to work on these.

Here's "Now That's Flower Power."  I've also got the episode that aired this morning, "Crusin' For a Losin' " up as well.

Tomorrow is "Jump for Joy."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 03
May 13th, 2005

"Abandon Ship!" is up.  Tomorrow is "Now That's Flower Power."

Comparison of the Day:  Day 02
May 12th, 2005

Here's "Just One of the Geysers."  Tomorrow will be "Abandon Ship!"

So I'm sure by now you've heard about "The Legend of Thunder," the dubbed version of the Raikou special that just premiered in the U.K.  Apparently, it's the worst product the Pokemon dub has ever seen.  Kenta, who was named "Yoshi" in "Tie One One," is now named Jimmy.  Marina, who was Dani in "Tie One On," is Marina.  Jun'ichi, who was Jackson in "Tie One On" is now named Vincent.  However, the biggest change has to be Bashou (Hun in the dub), who is a man in the Japanese version but is now a woman in the dub.  Freaky stuff indeed.

I hope to get my own copy of the dubbed version so I can start comparing, since I have no idea when the series will ever make its way to American shores.

Comparison of the Day:  Day 01
May 11th, 2005

"A Meditite Fight!" is up.  I've also brought the TV Schedule up to date.

Come here tomorrow for "Just One of the Geysers."

Song Lyrics
May 10th, 2005

Hey everyone.  I would have updated long before now, but one of my good friends passed away last week.  Funerals are not fun at all, and I hope none of you guys have to experience all the drama associated with the death of someone close to you.

However, now I think I'm ready to get back to business as usual.  So with this update, I'm going to update the Lyrics Section with a bunch of songs, including:

I still plan to do a guide to the animation changes made throughout Smile, but that will have to come at another date.

So anyway, my summer vacation has officially begun, so I've decided to do what I always do when I go back home for the first time in a long while--catch up on all the episode comparisons I've missed along the way.  So tomorrow will start my daily updates with "A Meditite Fight."

See you tomorrow.
