"Leave It To Brocko!"
June 29th, 2007

I've got the comparison up for the last episode that aired in 2006 in Japan, "Leave It To Brocko!"

I've already watched "Shapes Of Things To Come!" and have taken a bunch of notes, but I haven't had a chance to do the write-up for it yet.  I hope to get that up very soon, though.

"A Staravia Is Born!"
June 27th, 2007

So I've got "A Staravia Is Born!" up for you guys.  I had to do a bit of research to get the pseudo Australian/English accent down, but after watching a few Neighbours clips on YouTube, I felt like I had done enough research.

(Those YouTube guys sure do love their Rosie x Pepper videos, don't they?)

My BitTorrent thingee is telling me that I still have almost 12 hours to go for my download of "Leave It To Brocko!," so I won't be able to get that one finished for quite some time.

Last Week's Episodes
June 25th, 2007

Sorry about the lateness of these.  Here's "Setting The World On It's [sic] Buneary!," "Not On MY Watch Ya Don't!," "Mounting A Coordinator Assault!," and "Arrival Of A Rival!"  Enjoy.

I'll do my best to get the comparisons for this week's episodes up the day after they air instead of waiting until the weekend to do them all.

"Gymbaliar"
June 20th, 2007

The oddly-titled "Gymbaliar" is up now.  I've also added the crapload of new English titles that have been revealed recently and a new Japanese title to the Episode Guide.

I'm back!
June 19th, 2007

So Tuesday I was all set to upload the comparison for "Gettin' Twiggy With It."  So I open up my FTP program and...found that it wasn't working!  For some reason, I was unable to log in, and it's taken me the last week or so to sort things out.

Luckily, I seem to be back up and running, so I've got some new comparisons for you.  The Season 9 finale, "Getting' Twiggy With It," is now up.  I've also got the first two episodes of Season 10, "Different Strokes For Different Blokes" and "Like It Or Lup It" up.  Finally, I've corrected an error in the "Dawn Of A New Era" comparison that a number of you have e-mailed me about.  I haven't had the time to do "Gymbaliar" yet, but I plan to get to work on it right away to avoid falling too far behind.

"Dawn Of A New Era!"
June 8th, 2007

I've got the comparison for the awkwardly capitalized "Dawn Of A New Era!" up for you guys.  Hope you guys enjoy.  For those of you who missed the episode, Cartoon Network will be airing DP 001-004 today from 5:00pm until 7:00pm, so check that out if you missed out.

I've also added some new Japanese and English episode titles to the Episode List.

"Ka Boom With a View!" & "King and Queen for a Day!"

June 5th, 2007

Sorry for the lateness of these.  I've had a number of unexpected stuff thrown at me in the last week (spontaneous beach trip, a friend from out of town who I hadn't seen in three years randomly stopping by, basic Japan preparation stuff, etc.) that prevented me from getting the new comparison done.  So, to make up for it, I've got two comparisons today:  "Ka Boom With a View!" and "King and Queen for a Day!"  So long Battle Frontier and hello Spurt!

Speaking of comparisons, I got quite a few e-mails after Cartoon Network's 33-hour marathon stating that the skull-and-crossbones paint edit in "A Cacturne for the Worse" was a Kids' WB!-only edit because it showed up in the Cartoon Network airing.  While I do appreciate the e-mails, I kinda already posted that information months and months ago.

So Diamond & Pearl has officially started in the US this week, so I've added all the newest episode titles that have been revealed.  I really wish CN wouldn't rush through the series especially now that they don't have any incentive to do so, but I will enjoy the downtime when CN runs out of episodes and is forced to go into endless rerun mode.

There's also a new Japanese title on that page.  The month of June will only give us two new episodes in Japan because of baseball season, making CN's plowing through of the DP episodes even more nonsensical.

If I don't get any more comparisons up between now and the time "Dawn of a New Era" premieres, then my next comparison will be the new Diamond & Pearl episode.  It's going to be nice to actually do a comparison of something that didn't premiere months and months ago, wouldn't you say?
