Our heroes are back on the road to Miare
City when Trova decides to try something out; what if X gives Garura's
Mega Stone to other pokemon? Will they Mega Evolve too?
After a failed attempt to Mega Evolve Harimaron, our heroes come across
a Hitokage out in the field. They quickly befriend the Fire-Type
and take it with them into the bustling metropolis that is Miare
City. Once inside, Trova tells the story of how he became
acquainted with Platane-Hakase but later admits that he doesn't
actually know where his lab is. The gang is suddenly approached
by Dexio and Sina, a duo of Masked Heroes who accuse our heroes of
kidnapping Hitokage! After clearing up the misunderstanding X and
the others are taken to Platane-Hakase's laboratory where the professor
notices that X doesn't trust him and challenges him to a pokemon
battle. Trova and the others, meanwhile, are sent to the
professor's friend Fleur-de-Lys to get their Holocasters fixed.
Is this be the mysterious man our heroes noticed in one of the photos
Viola took in Asame Town? Elsewhere, Xerocisy discovers that the
legendary pokemon Xerneas had disguised itself as a tree in the middle
of a forest.
Notes
The report Trova
looks up during the flashback is the "90% of all pokemon are related
through evolution" (ポケモンの90%は進化に関係している) report that was written by
Nanakamado-Hakase, a reference to the fact that Platane-Hakase
supposedly trained under Nanakamado-Hakase.

As Fleur-de-Lys repairs our heroes'
Holocasters, Trova finds himself feeling uneasy around the devices'
inventor. Meanwhile, Platane-Hakase notices that X isn't giving
their battle everything he's got. Harimaron, on the other hand,
refuses to back down and earns X's respect even though it ends up
losing the battle after all. X announces that he's decided to
officially make Harimaron his pokemon and then expresses interest in
training the professor's Hitokage as well. Back at the lab, the
Kalos League Champion Carnet shows up with her Mega Sirnight to let
Fleur-de-Lys know that she's keeping her eyes on him. He says he
understands and adds that he only wants to preserve the beauty that's
in the world before it withers away. He then excuses himself from
the room after receiving a call from Xerocisy asking permission to
bring the hibernating Xerneas back to their headquarters. As he
rides his Gyarados through the sky, Fleur-de-Lys tells his pokemon that
it'll soon be able to Mega Evolve just like Carnet's can. Back in
Miare City, Carnet bids our heroes farewell right as Trova passes out
from a fever! At that moment X and Platane-Hakase arrive on the
scene riding a couple of Gogoat.

X's Harimaron's
nickname is "Mariso" (マリソ), which seems to come from its species'
French name "Marisson."

Pansy is putting the finishing touches on
her report on the Asame Town incident when she receives a call from
Viola asking her to help X and his friends stand against a group called
the Flare-Dan. Later, Pansy goes to Prism Tower to meet with
Platane-Hakase to get some quotes for her article. X and the
others, who had come along with the professor, wait outside. When
Pansy gets off the elevator she finds that her editor has beaten her to
the scoop! He announces that he's already done with the interview
and tells Platane-Hakase that he's free to go. Once he's gone the
editor takes Pansy's report from her hands and then sets it on
fire! He tells her that he can't allow the truth to get out there
and sends out his Goronda to silence the young reporter. X senses
trouble and rushes to the top of the tower to help Pansy take on the
ferocious Fighting-Type. As Black and his three pokemon fight, Y
and the others escort Pansy out of the building. Once outside,
Pansy tells the others that there's now no doubt in her mind that the
Flare-Dan was behind the attack in Asame Town.

nickname is "Salamè" (サラメ), which seems

X finds himself in a pinch when he learns
that the editor's Goronda can see through all of Mega Garura's
attacks! He sends out Harimaron and Hitokage to help out but they
are soon thrown into confusion by Kofurai's Rage Powder. Despite
this, however, the two are eventually able to defeat the Bug-Type
pokemon. Soon after X realizes that Goronda is using
the leaf in its mouth to read its opponent's movements and so he has
his
Hitokage destroy it with the flame on its tail. This enables Mega
Garura to finally move in close and knock Goronda out and onto the
streets below. Everyone reunites downstairs where Pansy hands
over an article she wrote to our heroes before leaving to rejoin Viola
in Hakudan City.
Back in Prism Tower, the Gym Leader's younger sister Eureka walks
in on the aftermath of X's battle and notices that one of their pokemon
is missing. The pokemon, Rakurai, is later seen following our
heroes out of the city. Meanwhile, over in Shouyou City, the Gym
Leaders Zakuro and Citron are talking outside when they look down and
see the famous Saihorn Racer Saki...walking off with the
Flare-Dan!? What is Y's mother doing?

Y is training for Sky Battles while her
new Keromatsu watches. Trova, meanwhile, sends a message to
Platane-Hakase telling him about what they've been up to and lets him
know that they haven't forgotten about the Fokko and the Trimmien from
whom they've become separated. Y goes to change out of her sky
suit when a Rakurai appears and steals her shirt! Elsewhere, Saki is
brought back to a holding area where she and the rest of the residents
of Asame Town are being kept. It seems like the Flare-Dan has
taken everyone hostage to prevent news about Xerneas' and Yveltal's
attack from getting out! Later, X and the others manage to retrieve Y's
shirt and return it to its owner. They then discover that Rakurai, who
abruptly evolves into Livolt during all this, only wanted to use Y's
ability to fly in order to help it search for a Mega Stone! Citron, who
happened to be on the road at the time and who recognized Y from a
magazine article about her mother, approaches the group and offers to
use one of his inventions to help search the area. Above, a member of
the Flare-Dan and his Chigoras watches.

Citron's invention reveals the presence of
the hiding Flare-Dan agent! It also locates the Mega Stone in a tree
above and so the Flare-Dan agent has his Chigoras knock it over so he
can grab it before the others get a chance. X and Trova chase after the
thief while Y and the others help free Citron from under the fallen
tree. The chase eventually takes our heroes into the hedge maze behind
Parfum Palace. X and Trova soon discover that Chigoras had only lured
them there so it could also steal Garura's Mega Stone! Meanwhile,
Citron tells Y about seeing her mother in Shouyou City with the
Flare-Dan. Inside the palace, Crocea, the man responsible for managing
the Pokemon Storage System in the Kalos Region, hears what's going on
in the hedge maze and decides to join in on the fun. Back outside, the
Flare-Dan agent decides that there's no harm in telling his pursuers
about how Mega Stones only work on certain pokemon. Now that they've
learned something new about Mega Evolution, X says, all that's left to
do is take back the stolen Mega Stones. Trova marvels at how much X has
opened up during his journey.

The nickname that X
gives to Livolt is Élec (エレク). The
specie's French name is Élecsprint.

The battle continues as Chigoras and Livolt throw each other through various statues
throughout the maze. Eventually Trova catches up to X and joins
the battle. Meanwhile, Crocea approaches Y's group and uses his
Pumpdjinn to take care of the four Nyasper that had been attacking
them. When the battle is over Citron, who had always wondered
what was going on under a Nyasper's ears, decides that now's his chance
to find out. He lifts up one of the pokemon's ears...and is
suddenly sent soaring into the air like a rocket! Elsewhere,
Livolt distracts the Flare-Dan agent while Flabebe sneaks into his coat
pocket and retrieves the stolen Mega Stones. X has Livolt turn
into Mega Livolt and use its amazing power to send the Flare-Dan agent
running. After the battle X finds a clipboard the agent had
dropped containing a list of confirmed Mega Stones! Later, X and
Trova join the others inside Crocea's lab. As Y recovers from the
shock of what Citron told her about her mother, X learns about the
Nyasper who attacked his friends. One of them has even returned
to Crocea's lab to be with Matiere, the girl who's been taking care of
it...
Notes
The pokemon listed on
the Flare-Dan agent's list are:
Mega Kairos, Mega Livolt, Mega Garura, Mega Gyarados (✓), Mega Sirnight, Mega Jupetta, Mega Charem, Mega Hassamu, Mega Houdin, Mega Ptera, Mega Heracross, Mega Hellgar, and Mega Yukino'oh. Fleur-de-Lys was shown to have the Gyaradosite in the chapter printed in the July 2014 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban! which is probably why there's a check mark (済 in the Japanese version) beside Mega Gyardos' name. Y recalls an argument she had with her
mother two days before the attack on Asame Town. Later, Crocea
agrees to let X and the others ride with him to Shouyou City since he
has to go that way anyway for business. Once they arrive our
heroes can look for clues to figure out why Saki went off with the
Flare-Dan. As they make a stop at the Battle Chateau, Trova and
the others notice how Y has completely shut down. Elsewhere, at
the Flare-Dan's Secret Base, Pakira of the Four Heavenly Emperors
scolds a grunt for losing the list with all the Mega Pokemon on
it. She's willing to forgive him, however, because he was at
least able to bring them both the Gyaradosnite and Citron, the Miare
City Gym Leader. She then goes through the Monster Balls
collected after the attack on Asame Town and decides to take Fokko for
herself. Back at the Battle Chateau, Crocea moves everyone from
his van to a helicopter so they can avoid having to go through the
Connecting Cave. They're flying peacefully through the air when
all of a sudden they find themselves surrounded by more than a dozen
Sky Trainers...!?

The Sky Trainers command their army of
Vivillon to use Windstorm on Crocea's helicopter. One of the Sky
Trainers, who Y recognizes as a fellow student from her days at the Sky
Trainer Training School back in Asame Town, demands she come out and
battle. Y accepts and quickly lures the group away from the
helicopter to keep X and the others safe. The former classmate is
Misora, a young girl who was able to collect eighteen varieties of
Vivillon thanks to her parents' travels around the world. Despite this,
Y ended up getting all the attention at school anyway, causing Misora
to resent her. As X tells Sana to be on the lookout for whoever's
behind the assault, Misora crosses the line by saying nasty things
about Y's mother. Y defends her mother's honor and in doing so
realizes that she actually cares a great deal about her. As
Yako-chan evolves into Hinoyakoma, X finds the Gilguard that had been
controlling Misora - the same one that controlled Sana back in Miare
City? - and attacks it. The pokemon falls to the ground where it
is soon discovered by Pakira. Later, Crocea announces that
they've arrived at Shouyou City.

The propellers on Crocea's helicopter were
damaged during the Sky Battle! A piece of one of the propellers breaks
off, hitting Y and sending her falling below. The others make an
emergency landing near a riverbank. Elsewhere, Y lands safely thanks to
Keromatsu breaking her fall with its bubbles. She soon realizes
that she's on the Spiky Mountain Path on Route 9 and begins to look for
a Saihorn to hitch a ride on. Just then she overhears Correa of the
Flare-Dan talking to Pakira. Are the two of them allies? Correa is
upset that her Gilguard was defeated but Pakira praises her for raising
a pokemon capable of controlling that many Sky Trainers from so far
away. She then tells Correa that tonight's the night they'll begin
moving the tree that Xerneas transformed into. During all this
Keromatsu evolves into Gekogashira. Elsewhere, Crocea is listening to
his assistant announce that Matiere has gone missing when Zakuro
approaches him about the damage his helicopter's done to the area. X
and the others sneak off to find Y. As they walk, our heroes get an
idea: why don't we stop the constant running and just attack the
Flare-Dan's headquarters head on?
Notes
When Correa swings
her Hitotsuki at Y, the sword cuts off her ponytail, giving Y a shorter
haircut.

Citron wakes up inside the Flare-Dan's
hideout where Xerocisy orders him to build a machine for
them or else. Xerocisy then leaves to check up on Esprit and her newly
upgraded Expansion Suit. Elsewhere, Saki and the other residents of
Asame Town notice that none of the guards have made their rounds today.
Is this their chance to escape? Saki signals for Cleffey, the pokemon
who helped her escape all those other times, to use its keys to unlock
everyone's cages. Back on Route 9, X and the others search for Y by
following a trail of mousse-covered rocks left behind by Gekogashira.
Further ahead, Y and Gekogashira follow Pakira and Correa as they head
into the forest where the Xerneas tree is now resting. Pakira talks
about how Corni, Concombre, and Carnet have all joined forces and
expresses her desire to use her Tailnar to get rid of them. They then
leave to prepare for the night's operations. Before long X and the
others finally catch up to Y. Later, Correa returns to headquarters
where she catches Saki and the others trying to make a break for it.
She uses her Gilguard to hypnotize everyone and prevent their escape.

Y tells X and the others what she
overheard Pakira and Correa planning. The group decides to wait for the
Flare-Dan to return and carry off the tree so they can follow them back
to their
hideout. As predicted, Correa, Esprit,
and the hypnotized residents of Asame Town arrive on the scene. Correa finds
the chunk of Y's hair her Hitotsuki cut off earlier as the
townspeople work on getting the tree hoisted onto a massive cart. Saki
snaps out of
her hypnosis at the sight of her daughter's hair and reaches out for
it, prompting Correa to knock her down. Y jumps out from her hiding
spot
to help her mother but is quickly pinned down by Correa's
pokemon. X joins the fray and tries to Mega Evolve both his
Garura and his Livolt but, much to his surprise, it doesn't work!
Esprit then steps in and uses her Ohrot to trap X and his
friends. Meanwhile, the townspeople finish loading the Xerneas
tree onto the cart and begin to pull it away. Esprit is
about to finish our heroes off when Carnet, Corni, and Concombre show
up to
lend a hand. Elsewhere, Pakira declares that everyone's been
