In the episode known in the U.S. as "Rematch at the Nacrene Gym!" the Gym Leader Aloe had her apron removed.  This edit was most likely made by the original Japanese animators because the older design for Aloe used in this episode resembles the Mammy archetype.

Images from the original Japanese TV airing are on top, while images from the English TV airing are on the bottom.

Luckily for the animators, this shot was used five times in this episode.  So really, they only had to edit it this one time and then copy and paste it every other time.

This was probably the most complicated edit in the whole arc.  In order to make this work, the animators would have had to remove the animation layer containing Haderrier's Protect, redraw Aloe, and then reapply the Protect layer.

While a few coloring mistakes were corrected during these episodes' re-editing, the animators accidentally created a new coloring error while redoing this shot.  In this new version, Aloe's sleeves are the wrong color.
