Dogasu's Backpack | CD Guide | American CDs

Here's a guide to all of the American Pokemon CD's released in America.  I've VERY biased toward these CD's, so if you're one of the people who happen to like American Pokemon music, then you won't want to bother reading my comments about each CD.

CD Titles are in Green, descriptions are in blue (whenver a picture's unavailable), and track listings are in black.

Special thanks to Amazon.com for all the CD cover images.

Pokémon World
Released February 8th, 2000

The good thing:  this CD only has two songs.  The bad thing:  this CD only has two songs.  To make up for this, the CD has some extras that can be accessed when you put the CD into a computer.  You get a video of Pokémon World, four desktop themes, and a screensaver that's just a white box bouncing around against a black background while the Pokémon logo occasionally pops up in the white box.  Waste your $9.99 elsewhere.

    01) Pokémon World
    02)  Pikachu's Winter Vacation
    03)  Pikachu's Winter Vacation (Karaoke)

Pokémon Live!  Original Cast Album
Released February 27th, 2001

This is the soundtrack to the American musical "Pokémon Live" that was on Broadway for a while.  Unfortunately, I don't have a track listing or any other information on the CD at the moment.

Pokémon 3 The Ultimate Soundtrack
Released April 3rd, 2001

This soundtrack is basically the "Totally Pokémon" CD with a few more songs.  Nintendo didn't really try to get the big-name pop groups for the soundtrack this time, and instead opted to make as much money as they can while spending the least amount.
